Spiderman

This exercise is to rig out this pose for a spiderman model given to us. The result of mine is below:
As you can see from my picture, basic shape is out but some parts of the legs were not properly posed. Thighs were too high and body stood out too much.

To better understand the fault, it can be seen in the side view, where clearly there is a problem with the thighs being too high. The neck is also too long as well and needs to be changed. Body and the back needs to be more curved as well. As compared to the example:
Hands also has to be extent higher and bottom also has to rise higher.

First I tried shifting the waist to a better position using the nurbs curve on the waist. Shifted front the thighs will extend behind while shifted behind the thighs will move front instead. Shifting high and down also changes the thigh position.

Second thing to change was the positions of the hands and arms. Supposing pose is right arms over left arm, while still maintaining sight of the hands clearly. Problem here is that if the arms are adjusted too far or close, the tend to intersect with the body so it will look as if the arms are in the body.

Third problem I encountered was the chest, as seen from the above picture, chest stands out too much and needs to be more 'bent' or small in a case but then if I do adjust it further down everything will become distorted again so I will take note of this case in the future if I ever do something like this again.

This is the final adjusted pose for my spiderman model, perspective view. Chest problem still there but at least not so bad compared to the previous models. Head is also tilted to one side according to the picture.

Side view. Legs were not so straight according to the x-axis of the model as it will look very unnatural. So I bend it down a little to make it look as though there is gravity acting upon it so it will look natural. Hands are also not straight to the point that it looks unnatural and strained.

Lastly the front view. I am pleased with the legs this time as they now look perfectly fine and according to the picture. Arms and hands also adjusted nicely although not perfectly. I did not add any webbing for him though.
